Born in Incheon, South Korea, Hui has built a life rooted in commitment, both personally and professionally. She and her husband, Leander, have been married for 51 years and share a daughter, Michelle Carter. Outside of work, Hui finds joy in spending time with her family, gardening, caring for livestock, and volunteering at her church, activities that reflect the same care and consistency she brings to her career.
Hui has served as a Dining Facility Attendant and Shift Leader at Fort Hood, TX, with unwavering dedication, setting a gold standard for excellence in food service and leadership. Over the years, she has been an integral part of major dining facility events, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Army Birthday celebrations, Veterans Day, and Fourth of July meals. Through it all, Hui has consistently delivered exceptional service with grace, precision, and professionalism.
Throughout her career, Hui has supported the nourishment and morale of thousands of soldiers, officers, and civilians each year, serving well over one million meals in total. Working five days a week with shifts ranging from five to eight hours, her stamina and reliability have never wavered. Just as notable is her flawless safety record, earned through strict adherence to training guides and standard operating procedures, and her deep institutional knowledge that makes her a trusted leader and mentor.
Hui’s journey spans several organizations, including Maintenance Inc., Aleman Food Service, Inc., Renaissant Development Inc., Hernandez Enterprises Inc., and, since 1999, PCSI. At every step, she has embodied the highest standards of the food service profession. Her time with PCSI has been especially impactful, as she continues to serve as a pillar of excellence, dependability, and leadership within the organization.
Hui Gray’s legacy is not defined by accolades or attention, but by consistency, care, and an unwavering commitment to doing things the right way. Her story reflects the heart of PCSI’s mission and serves as a powerful reminder that long-term dedication can leave an enduring mark.
